Today Kaden turned 9 months old. We celebrated with a trip to the pediatrician due to a suspicion that he had an ear infection. We have been looking for his bottom teeth to come in to explain why he is upset, but there has been no sign that they are on there way. With increased ear pulling and middle of the night inconsolable crying we decided maybe he had an ear infection. Having been told the bottom teeth come in first we didn't see the swelling he was having from his top 4 teeth trying to break through. His pediatrician said he will have 6 teeth within the next 3 weeks. Poor guy... not the way you want to celebrate a birthday.Also, today a stranger we met in the elevator asked if Kaden is 2 years old. I know he is big for a 9 month old, but 2 seems a little extreme. He weighed in today at 21 pounds.
Look for future pictures to have a mouth full of teeth.

Happy 9 Months!! Sorry you were not feeling well for your birthday, Kaden. I think Elias was teething pretty hard for his 9 Month Birthday, too, so he feels your pain. Hang in there, it gets better, and at least you'll get a lot of teeth in at once and it won't be drawn out over months and months. ;) Monaca, Kaden's an ADORABLE big boy! Elias weighed in at 21lb.14oz.at his 12-month check-up. Shots and blood work twice was not very fun, but at least they forget about it. But, I would never guess Kaden looked like 2 years old! He's still a baby and I love his smile.
