Kaden's New Discoveries

Inspired by Cousin Owen's recent posting of his "New Feats"... we are updating Kaden's newest discoveries.

Discovery #1

Of all of my fingers the thumb is the most delicious!

I can roll from my tummy to my back. Even though I haven't rolled in over a week... mom and dad know I can because I've done it twice.

Kaden has found his smile. If you have to wake up at 6:30 in the morning there is no better way than to a smile. Not the best picture we know, it seems like the one time we can't get Kaden to smile is if we have a camera in front of him. We will keep trying.

Cousin Owen

This weekend Kaden met his cousin Owen... the second cutest little boy in the world! They were fast friends, plus it's not everyday a 6 month old holds a 1 month old. We love you Owen!

How Cute am I! If you look closely you can not only see my gorgeous head of hair but you can see my hairy back, arms (and not to embarass the little guy... but my cute little butt as well.)

Kaden would like to give a special Happy 6 Month Birthday to his cousin Owen.

All About Kaden

Kaden is now 13 days old, and he could not be more loved! His hair is thinning which depresses his mom. His nickname however is "monkey" becuase of his long arms, legs, hands, feet, fingers and toes, plus the dark brown fine peach fuzz covering his arms, legs and back. He definetly has his mom and dad's genetics when it comes to not lacking hair. He is such a calm baby, and has been easy to take care of minus the lack of sleep. At his doctors appointment on 7-19-07 he weighed 7lbs and 4 Oz. The doctor reports he wont be a colicky baby because he has such a calm temperament (I'd like that in writing). Although he spends most of his day sleeping or eating he is slowly becoming more alert and awake a little more each day. Grandma H. swears that he understands what people are saying because he has the otherwise unexplainable ability to grin and frown approriate with conversation.

We'd like to say hi to dad who is at work so he can bring home the bacon. This is Kaden and Mom's first day home alone together (so far to good) just miss daddy.

Yesterday Kaden's umbilical cord fell off and he can now take a real bath.
