Good News!

The ultrasound today confirmed that Kaden is head down and will not require any heroic measures to get him correctly positioned. In addition, we were able to confirm that he is infact a little boy (looks like we can stick with blues). Unfortunately we did not come home with any ultrasound pictures because he had his hands and foot in front of his face. We however, can confirm that he is a thumb sucker.

The bad news for mom is that his projected current weight is 6 pounds 13 ounces with a possible 4 plus weeks to go to continue to grow. It looks like he will be taking after his cousin, Owen, who weighed in a little over 9 pounds. I however, unlike Owen's mom, am of sound mind and will be opting for an epidural. Wish us luck...

4 weeks and 3 days...but who's counting?

The countdown has begun. Almost a full 36 weeks and Kaden is breech. Tomorrow we are going in for an ultrasound to find out his position and hopefully he will find his way without help. Stay posted for ultrasound pics.

Inspired by our favorite nephew, Owen Carl, we wanted to create a place to share pictures and updates with friends and family for the soon to arrive Kaden Brown.
